Tuesday the 25th is our Get Stuffed for Thanksgiving day. Everybody can bring ONE stuffed animal that can fit in his/her backpack.

Book orders are due that same day.

Thank you to the volunteers for our fieldtrip. I will be getting more information to the three who are going with us soon.

Dear family`s,
This week in cursive we learned capital cursive A, C, H, and K. Everybody thought the h would be the hardest but it actually turned out to be pretty easy once you got the hang of it.
In reading we finished the book Small Steps by Peg Kehret. In the bibliography it turned out Shirley died of polio a few years after Peg was discharged from Sheltering Arms. Dorothy graduated from high school, was married and had 7 children and lived a happy life. Renée finished high school and for many years wrote a weekly column in her local newspaper. Alice also graduated from high school too and moved to a center for people with disabilities. Sadly Alice died of cancer in 1993.
In math we had to take a test of multiplication facts. Ms. Baxter said not to think of it as a test but of what we already know.
On Friday we had pajama day. It was really fun because we got to wear our slippers around the room. We also got to go to a share fair in Ms. Mathes room. They had published their personal narratives. Also everybody in their class got a miniature book with everybody’s personal narratives in it.
In specials on Monday we had library. On Tuesday P.E. On Wednesday music. Thursday art and Friday we had library again.
                                                             Sincerely,

                                                                                     Connor
