Writing
Our writing this week is persuasive writing and almost everybody chose a different topic! For example some people chose stop abusing animals, stop polluting the waters, and stop cutting down trees.
Math/Geometry
We are learning polygons and isosolies triangle and equilateral. In math we are starting to do a bit of fractions. But our main topic is multiplication and division. We had 14 people in our 100’s club and that’s the highest we have ever had! We did a timed test for multiplication and we had as much time as we wanted!
Reading
We have been doing a lot with reading groups lately and all of the reading group books are chapter books! We have read The Day the Crayons Quit and our current read aloud book is The Lemonade War and what just happened was Jessie put bugs and dirt in Evan’s lemonade mix and she did that because she didn’t want him to win the war that they were having.
